Software Engineer - US Shift

As a Software Engineer at Equiniti, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust software applications. Your technical responsibilities will include: - Minimum 4 years of software development and design experience in Java based technologies - Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining software applications, web apps, and Backoffice apps - Possess analytical, design, and documentation skills to solve challenging problems - Experience with production bug fixes - Proficiency in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, Struts/Spring, J2EE frameworks, Web Services/RESTful services, RDBMS, and SQL queries - Exposure to scalability issues and performance tuning - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Ability to work in both Linux and Windows environments - Experience in the Shareholder sector is a plus - Utilization of tools like ADO, JIRA, Visio, and MS Office for documentation and work tracking purposes Your professional responsibilities will involve: - Software design, development, testing, automation, and maintenance across enterprises - Collaboration with various teams to create project breakdowns, technical delivery schedules, and meeting milestones - Creating documentation and test scripts to support development work and deployment to the Production environment - Supporting business as usual activities including resolving defects, performance issues, and system outages - Monitoring application availability and performance - Identifying and implementing new technologies and tools for system improvements - Working US hours Your professional skills and qualities should include proficiency in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, Struts/Spring, J2EE frameworks, Web Services/RESTful services, ServiceNow, GitLab, monitoring tools, SQL, PL/SQL, ADO, JIRA, Eclipse/STS, and MS Office. Experience in the Shareholder domain is welcomed.
