Software Engineer

You are an experienced FoxPro Developer with over 2 years of experience in Visual FoxPro and SQL databases. Your primary responsibility will involve maintaining, enhancing, and supporting existing applications. You should have a strong background in database programming, troubleshooting legacy systems, and integrating FoxPro applications with modern technologies. Your key responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications in Visual FoxPro (VFP 6.0/9.0), working with SQL Server/MySQL databases for data integration, reporting, and optimization, troubleshooting and resolving issues in FoxPro applications, optimizing queries, stored procedures, and database performance, as well as assisting in migrating or integrating legacy FoxPro applications with modern technologies. To excel in this role, you are required to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in FoxPro (Visual FoxPro 6.0/9.0) development, a strong knowledge of SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL), experience in troubleshooting and debugging FoxPro applications, understanding of database design, indexing, and optimization, and knowledge of integrating FoxPro applications with other technologies. Preferred skills for this position include experience with FoxPro application migration to newer technologies and familiarity with VB.NET, C#, or other modern programming languages.
