Software Engineer Power BI

Job Description
We are hiring experienced Power BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions The role will involve gathering requirements, transforming raw data into meaningful insights, building dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and performance optimization Responsibilities Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and KPIs, Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, Build data models using Power Query, DAX, and relational databases, Optimize performance of reports and datasets for large-scale usage, Integrate Power BI with various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, cloud services, etc ), Implement and manage row-level security (RLS) and data governance policies, Collaborate with data engineers and business teams to ensure data accuracy, quality, and security, Provide end-user training and support for Power BI adoption, Stay up to date with the latest Power BI and Microsoft Data Platform features, Required Skills And Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field, 4+ years of experience working with Power BI, Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling, Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases, Proficiency in creating measures, KPIs, and drill-through dashboards, Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data warehouse concepts, Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to provide business insights, Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, PREFERRED Or GOOD TO HAVE Experience with Azure Data services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Dataverse), Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for extended use cases, Experience in RLS, data security, and governance frameworks, Microsoft Certification: PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate), Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics, Show more Show less
