Software Engineer

You are an Engineer specializing in Automotive Interior Design and Development with expertise in Design & Development of Automotive Interiors Trims. You should have 8 to 15 years of experience, focusing mainly on Door Trims. Proficiency in Catia V5/V6 is essential, with V6 experience being preferred. Your responsibilities will include Concept Development, Master Sections Development, Packaging & Feasibility Study, Tooling & Draft analysis. You will be involved in Solid & Surface Modelling in Catia, Assembly, 2D Drawings, Annotations, B-Side Attachment features, and design detailing. A strong understanding of GD&T, Locators & Fixing Strategy, Gap & Flush, and Tolerance Stack up is required. You should have sound knowledge of Plastics Part Design, Injection Moulding, and Wrapping Processes for interior trims. Experience in CAD Data management, Engineering Releases, and Changes management (ECR/ECN) is necessary. Familiarity with PLM Tools like Team Center, Enovia VPM, WERS, Energyhub, 3DX, etc., for engineering releases is preferred. An understanding of the DFMEA process, Craftsmanship & PPAP, and CAE analysis will be beneficial for this role.,
