ByAllAccounts, as a data intermediary, plays a vital role in connecting financial institutions, wealth-tech firms, and investors, facilitating the flow of data in the investment ecosystem. At ByAllAccounts, the aim is to transform investor data into the most valuable asset for customers, driving product innovation and enhancing client and advisor experiences through technology and data impact. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as an individual technical contributor and mentor Junior Engineers - Develop and maintain ByAllAccounts" web crawling engine and financial account data extraction system - Participate in sprint planning activities and apply Object-Oriented analysis & design - Adhere to guidelines for design and code, conduct peer reviews, and expand test coverage - Mentor junior team members Qualifications Required: - B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent discipline - 2+ years of experience in software development or software services - Good conceptual knowledge of OOPS and Java - Understanding of web applications and experience with web-based projects in Java - Proficiency in object-oriented programming, regular expressions, web technologies, and HTTP protocol - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team Please note: Morningstar offers a hybrid work environment that allows remote work and in-person collaboration.
