Software Engineer (Mid MERN react)

As a rapidly growing, private equity backed SaaS product company powering some of the world's most important missions, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Joining video conferencing calls with the product team for requirements gathering and feature enhancement discussions. - Building, maintaining, and enhancing our SaaS product. - Participating in sprint planning, ensuring effective decomposition of epics and user stories into estimated tasks and subtasks with clearly defined owners. - Participating in agile stand-ups and retrospectives, proactively helping and supporting colleagues to remove impediments and continuously improve team productivity and satisfaction. - Conducting code reviews and ensuring a quality-centric team approach to development. To excel in this role, you must have the following qualifications: - Excitement to work on a modern full stack React/Node/Mongo application with at least 5 years of hands-on experience, including mentoring and handling team operations. - Strong to expert-level knowledge of JavaScript. - Ability to handle the entire software development life cycle. - Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. - Detail-oriented and meticulous work ethic. - Good instinct for business and commercial value versus development effort. - Self-management skills for projects. - Leadership qualities where others look to you for guidance. - Strong knowledge of databases, both SQL and No-SQL based. - Deep care for software quality and testing. Additionally, it would be nice to have: - Strong and up-to-date HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. - Experience with progressive web app development, including install prompts, custom service workers, caching of static resources and requests, and offline capabilities. Qualifications required for this position include: - A B.Tech/MCA degree. - Experience in modern full stack React/Node/Mongo applications. - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, including mentoring and team operations.
