Software Engineer - JAVA

As a Backend Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing robust backend services and APIs using Java 21 to ensure clean, scalable, and testable code. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing efficient ORM layers and managing relational data with Hibernate and MySQL, including schema design and query optimization. - Building and maintaining RESTful APIs for seamless JSON-based data exchange. - Collaborating effectively in an agile environment, utilizing GIT for version control and JIRA for task tracking. - Following DevOps best practices, such as Configuration as Code (CaC), continuous integration, unit testing, and code reviews. - Diagnosing and resolving issues across services, APIs, and database layers. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Strong proficiency in Java (version 21). - Experience with Hibernate or similar ORM frameworks. - Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically MySQL. - Hands-on experience with JSON data structures and RESTful APIs. - Proficiency with GIT and collaborative development workflows. - Familiarity with JIRA for task tracking and agile development. - Knowledge of Configuration as Code (CaC) concepts is preferred.
