Software Engineer - JAVA

As a Senior Software Engineer in Java, you will provide technology leadership by working in an agile development environment. Your responsibilities will include translating business requirements into low-level application design, application code development through a collaborative approach, full-scale unit testing, and applying test-driven and behavior-driven development (TDD/BDD) QA concepts. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technology leadership in an agile development environment - Translate business requirements into low-level application design - Develop application code through a collaborative approach - Perform full-scale unit testing - Apply test-driven and behavior-driven development (TDD/BDD) QA concepts Qualifications Required: - Practical knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and relational/non-relational databases - Familiarity with data streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Web sockets, and Spring Messaging - Experience with database tools like JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, and Spring Data - Proficiency in modern SDLC tooling like Maven and Git - Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Mandatory Soft Skills: - Ability to contribute as an individual contributor - Capability to execute responsibilities independently - Focus on self-planning activities Nice-to-have Skills: - Familiarity with BDD - Knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Angular In this role, you will need to have 5-7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing Java-based microservices design-oriented applications and deploying them using container orchestration.
