As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and community banking technology team, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches. You will also create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Additionally, you will gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets to drive continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting - Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms - Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets - Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events - Add to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience - Hands-on experience on core Java, Spring, and REST services - Strong Java, J2EE, and Microservices design and development experience - Strong experience in RDBMS (Oracle) - Strong technical development experience in writing code, code reviews, and best practices code refactoring - Hands-on knowledge of cloud Technology, Containers, Kafka, or any streaming technology - Experience with various source control tools like GIT - Good understanding of Jenkins CI/CD, Maven/Gradle - Excellent knowledge in developing resilient and high-quality deliverables - Solution-driven attitude and multitasker Additional Company Details: JPMorgan Chase offers an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to advance your software engineering career to the next level.
