Software Engineer II

You will be part of an agile team at FIS, responsible for delivering high-quality software to meet business needs. Your activities will include analysis, design, coding, error handling, automation, testing, building, releasing, monitoring, and supporting components and sub-systems. You will work collaboratively in an agile manner, participate in code reviews, and encourage good standards. Migrating applications from older .NET frameworks to .NET Core will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for end-to-end delivery of high-quality software - Analyze, design, code, handle errors, automate, test, build, release, monitor, and support components - Participate in agile ceremonies and encourage a team approach - Perform code reviews and ensure good coding standards - Develop complex applications in a team-oriented environment Qualifications Required: - 5 to 8+ years of experience in application software product development - Hands-on experience in ASP.Net MVC, C#, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, and SQL Server - Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC and WebApi is a plus - Proficiency in writing unit tests and familiarity with frameworks like NUnit and Spec Flow - Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline and Azure cloud-based architecture with API management is advantageous - Excellent written and verbal communication skills About FIS: FIS is known for providing financial technology solutions globally.
