Software Engineer II

As a Software Engineer II at Contentstack, you will have the opportunity to join an innovative, fun, and fast-paced team where your contributions will make a meaningful impact. You will be responsible for the following: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js - Contribute to frontend development using React.js or any modern frontend framework - Write clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on Test-Driven Development (TDD) - Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and maintain technical documentation - Support CI/CD pipelines and follow Git workflows for smooth delivery - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features - Explore and integrate emerging technologies including AI/ML where relevant - Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications **Qualifications Required:** - Strong experience in Node.js and JavaScript - Familiarity with React.js, Vue, Angular, or similar frameworks - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and API design - Good understanding and practical application of TDD - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows - Familiarity with Agile development processes **Nice-to-Have:** - Exposure to AI technologies or a strong interest in learning them - Experience with MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch - Cloud experience, preferably with AWS Contentstack is a company dedicated to its customers and communities, recognized for its unmatched customer care and tradition of giving back globally through the Contentstack Cares program.
