Software Engineer I

As a Junior Software Engineer at MRI Software, you will be an integral part of our global Product Development department. Your primary responsibility will be to apply defined software development life cycle processes in order to deliver high-quality production-ready code. You will work diligently to test your code and collaborate with the team to maintain MRI Software's high standards. Operating under the Agile development methodology, you will work in a cross-functional environment with various groups, both internal and external to the department, including Product Management and Documentation. Additionally, you will be involved in creating and testing code within our dynamic team setting. Your responsibilities will include applying established practices and procedures to design, implement, and support software projects. You will be expected to build effective working relationships with team members, actively seek assistance when needed while demonstrating learning and growing independence. Furthermore, you will actively seek guidance for prioritization and review of deliverables, as well as perform and design testing protocols to ensure thorough testing of the product. To be considered for this role, you should possess a degree in BE, Btech, MCA, MSC, or BCA in Computer Science or a related technical field (2024/25 Passout). Experience in developing software or algorithms based on predetermined specifications is required. Knowledge of object-oriented programming, with a preference for Microsoft .Net or Java, is essential. Proficiency with Source Control tools and familiarity with database objects (tables, stored procedures, queries, etc.) will be advantageous. Attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills are also key requirements.
