Job Description

Sales Intelligence

Key Responsibilities

Backend Service Development
: Design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs using
FastAPI.
Ensure clean, consistent code with
SQLAlchemy
models and migrations
Database Design & Optimization:
Model relational schemas in
PostgreSQL. W
rite and optimize complex queries and indexed views
Data Ingestion & Scraping:
Build and maintain web-scraping pipelines to gather company and contact data. Handle anti-bot measures, pagination, and data normalization
Asynchronous Processing:
Orchestrate background tasks and job queues with
Celery.
Monitor task health, retry logic, and throughput metrics
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to uphold code quality. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
DevOps & Automation:
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker). Collaborate on infrastructure-as-code for reproducible environments
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with Product, Data and Sales teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Partner with frontend and senior backend engineers to ship features end-to-end

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
1–3 years
professional Python backend experience with
FastAPI
,
SQLAlchemy
, and
PostgreSQL
Hands-on with task queues (Celery) and background job orchestration
Experience building robust web-scraping solutions and handling large-scale data ingestion
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD tooling, and basic cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Strong software engineering fundamentals: REST principles, testing, security, and observability
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
