Software Engineer

You will be responsible for leading the development of modern, high-performing, and scalable web applications as a Senior Software Engineer at Evolve In Tech. Your main responsibilities will include: - Frontend architecture & development - Take ownership of architecture and development for modern frontend applications using Vue.js or React. - Build and maintain a scalable, reusable design system and component library. - Develop modular, testable, and accessible UI components. - Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless API integration. - Quality & performance - Optimize rendering, bundle size, and runtime performance. - Implement automated tests using tools like Cypress, Playwright, and Vitest. - Maintain comprehensive component documentation in Storybook. - Ensure performance, maintainability, and accessibility standards are consistently met. - Collaboration & mentorship - Work closely with designers to create inclusive, responsive, and user-friendly UIs. - Support branding, theming, and white-label features across multiple clients. - Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in code quality and collaboration. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of professional experience in modern frontend development with Vue.js, React, or similar technologies. - Proficiency in TypeScript, CSS architecture, theming, and state management (Vuex / Redux). - Experience with test automation, modern build tools, REST, and GraphQL integrations. - Strong understanding of design principles, accessibility, and responsive UI development. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a passion for clean, maintainable code and continuous learning.
