Software Engineer

The role at DoorDash Technologies India Private Limited in Pune, India revolves around building data tools for both internal and external consumers. As part of the Engineering team in India, you will be involved in developing solutions such as Data as a Platform (DaaP) solution, configuration tools for ETLs, and various internal tools to cater to different data-related use cases. Working in the Foundations Data team, you will collaborate with different stakeholders to address complex data challenges and build end-to-end solutions for in-house data applications. This role requires a strong background in software development with expertise in tech stacks like React, RESTful APIs, gRPC, and SQL. Additionally, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a solid foundation in computer science principles and engineering concepts. Proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, and object-oriented programming using Java, Kotlin, or Python is essential. Furthermore, experience in building large-scale microservice-based architectures, working with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and the ability to analyze and enhance system efficiency, scalability, security, and stability are key requirements for this role. Strong communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with remote team members across different time zones are also crucial for success in this position.
