Software Engineer 2 (Boomi developer)

You will be joining Tekion as a Software Engineer-2 with a focus on Dell Boomi integrations. Your role will involve designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Boomi AtomSphere integrations. You will work on building and managing integrations between various platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, and Workday. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing scripts in JavaScript and Groovy for transformation and custom business needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integrations will be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, deploy, and support Boomi AtomSphere integrations - Build and manage integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Workday, and other platforms - Work with various connectors and protocols such as Web Services (SOAP/REST), FTP/SFTP, Database V2, and messaging systems (JMS, MLLP) - Develop scripts in JavaScript and Groovy for transformation and custom business requirements - Perform system troubleshooting and ensure optimal performance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and QA processes Must Have Skills: - 3+ years of experience in integration development using Dell Boomi - Strong scripting expertise in JavaScript and Groovy is mandatory - Hands-on experience with integrating platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Workday, and databases - Proficiency in Web Services (SOAP, REST, HTTP Clients), File Transfer Protocols (FTP/SFTP), Messaging Systems (JMS, MLLP), and other protocols like AS2, LDAP, Mail, Cosmos DB, OpenAPI, OFTP2, FHIR Nice to have: - Boomi certification (Associate or Professional) - Understanding of API design and security best practices - Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) Tekion is a company that is positively disrupting the automotive industry with innovative cloud-native solutions.
