You will drive key engineering and business decisions that impact Amazon s long-term vision, including innovation in the delivery and consumption of media and entertainment. We leverage technology in client-app frameworks, big data, machine learning, optimization techniques and high availability services. In this role you will: Lead the design of new features and initiatives across the organization. Investigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative software applications. Deliver high quality software through working in a dynamic, team-focused Agile/Scrum environment. We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented software engineers who have experience building innovative, mission critical, high volume applications that customers love. This is a high visibility team where you will get a chance to make a positive impact on customer experience. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
