Project Role : Software Development Engineer Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work. Must have skills : SAP Purchasing (MM PO) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. Design and develop software solutions based on the requirements. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality of the software. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing and bug fixing. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in SAP Purchasing (MM PO). Strong understanding of SAP MM module and its integration with other modules. Experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Hands-on experience in SAP MM PO configuration and customization. Knowledge of SAP MM PO best practices and industry standards. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving SAP MM PO related issues. Good To Have Skills:Experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) module. Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules like FI, CO, and SD. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP Purchasing (MM PO). This position is based at our Chennai office.
