Project Role :Software Development Engineer

Project Role Description :Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Summary:As a Software Development Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic work environment where you will analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code across multiple clients. Your day will involve collaborating with team members to perform maintenance and enhancements, ensuring that the applications meet the evolving needs of users while adhering to best practices in software development.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME.- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in SAP CO Management Accounting.- Technology Controlling Consultant with strong functional expertise with experience in S/4HANA implementation projects. In-depth knowledge of Fiori apps related to Margin Analysis and Controlling reporting.- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.- Experience in application development and maintenance processes.- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.System Configuration:- Update and maintain COPA derivation logic, including custom-developed logic- Understand SAP database structure (e.g., tables, fields) to analyze existing enhancements and implement new configurations without impacting current setup- Maintain and enhance derivations and substitution rules related to Profit CentersSupport Unit Testing:- Profit Center is part of all financial postings, requiring cross-functional coordination- Collaborate with other workstreams to develop appropriate test data and execute test scenarios- Strong communication skills are essentialTest Script Development:- Create test scripts as part of the Accenture deliverablesUser Acceptance Testing (UAT):- Provide support during UAT and resolve PCA-MA defects - Support end users in adopting new S/4HANA Controlling functionality
Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP CO Management Accounting.- This position is based at our Pune office.- A 15 years full time education is required. Qualification
