Software Development Engineer 1 - Fullstack

As a SDE1 full stack developer, you will deliver world-class products while driving innovation across the team and organization. Staying ahead of industry trends, researching emerging technologies, and proactively enhancing product functionality, user experience, and development speed are key aspects of your role. You will have hands-on experience building and developing with LLM for code generation, automation, or tooling. Additionally, experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development, familiarity with the React ecosystem and component-based architecture, and a basic understanding of server-side development concepts are required. Proficiency with version control systems like Git is also essential. In terms of technical requirements, you should be skilled in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 for frontend development, Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks for backend development, and have experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. Familiarity with tools such as Git, npm/yarn, testing frameworks, and LLMs is necessary for this role. Accountability and integrity are highly valued, with a strong emphasis on taking ownership of tasks, demonstrating responsibility, upholding ethical standards, and delivering high-quality work. Prior experience working with startups, educational technology products, understanding cloud infrastructure and deployment, and contributions to open-source projects are considered advantageous.
