As a Software Developer Intern in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and management of technology-based solutions to enhance our clients" delivery processes. Your responsibilities will include coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes, as well as contributing to the design of software applications to meet functional and technical requirements. You will collaborate in the technical design process by analyzing application requirements, identifying needs related to people, processes, and technology, and participating in test execution and documentation. Additionally, you will work within an agile team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications, ensuring adherence to established development standards and principles. Your role will involve assisting in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, and estimates. You will also be responsible for preparing reports, manuals, and other documentation on software status, operation, and maintenance. Furthermore, you will engage in activities such as peer-reviews of solution designs and code, supporting deployment of releases, and refining integrations between applications while resolving technical issues promptly. To excel in this position, you should possess a College or University degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a strong willingness to learn. Proficiency in object-oriented programming, relational database design, and querying, as well as familiarity with version control concepts, is essential. Exposure to Python, web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, client/server application development, SDLC, agile methodologies, and unit testing will be advantageous.
