About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer with 35 years of experience in the Microsoft technology ecosystem. You will work on building and enhancing business-critical applications using .NET technologies, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with emerging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Azure AI is highly desirable, as we continue to integrate intelligent features into our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web and backend applications using the Microsoft stack (.NET Core/Framework, C#, SQL Server, etc.).
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, DevOps, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Integrate third-party APIs and Microsoft services, including Azure-based tools and services.
• Follow coding standards and best practices, including secure coding, unit testing, and code reviews.
• Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Explore and experiment with AI-enhanced development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or Power Platform AI features.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and internal documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in software development using Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency in:
• C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET
• SQL Server and T-SQL
• REST APIs and microservices
• Visual Studio and Git (GitHub/Azure Repos)
• Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred / Bonus Skills:

• Exposure to or interest in GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like Blazor, React, or Angular (used in Microsoft environments).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) in a Microsoft environment.
