Software Developer (.NET / Microsoft Stack)

As a Software Developer(.NET / MicroSoft Stack) at our technology services client based in Pune, you will have the opportunity to work on building and enhancing business-critical applications using .NET technologies. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and integrating intelligent features into products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, test, and deploy web and backend applications using the Microsoft stack (.NET Core/Framework, C#, SQL Server, etc.). - Collaborate with business analysts, QA, DevOps, and other developers to deliver high-quality software. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives. - Integrate third-party APIs and Microsoft services, including Azure-based tools and services. - Follow coding standards and best practices including secure coding, unit testing, and code reviews. - Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Explore and experiment with AI-enhanced development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or Power Platform AI features. - Contribute to knowledge sharing and internal documentation. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 3-5 years of experience in software development using Microsoft technologies. **Proficiency in:** - C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET - SQL Server and T-SQL - REST APIs and microservices - Visual Studio and Git (GitHub/Azure Repos) - Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps). - Solid understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies. - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. **Preferred / Bonus Skills:** - Exposure to or interest in GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI-assisted development tools. - Experience with front-end frameworks like Blazor, React, or Angular (used in Microsoft environments). - Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Azure DevOps pipelines. - Knowledge of Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) is a plus. - Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) in a Microsoft environment.
