Software Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for software development engineering with a focus on various types/categories of software, including end-user applications and operating systems/utility software. Your role will involve conducting requirements gathering, analyzing software problems and functionalities, writing software code using programming, scripting, and/or database languages, supporting software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities, and applying software development best practices. As an Entry Professional (P1), you will work under close supervision, dealing with relatively straightforward problems while explaining facts, policies, and practices related to the job area. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in C# for both windows and web applications as well as proficiency in scripting languages and dashboards. - Contribution to software architecture definition and detailed design based on OOAD and patterns. - Creation of implementation proposals and design documents, involvement in the full life cycle SDLC, and hands-on coding and debugging. - Collaboration with global teams, investigation of new technologies, understanding of systems engineering, interface points, and software quality factors. - Self-motivation, willingness to take on and lead new challenges, and excellent English verbal and written communication skills. - Ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines while embodying Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in any Product Configurator. - Proficiency in English and good experience in Microsoft technologies. - Expertise in OOPs concepts, working experience in C#, MS SQL Server, JSON, React, Angular, and DOTNET 3.5/4.0 frameworks onwards. - Familiarity with SDLC and CM processes and artifacts, skill in creating user interfaces, and strong technical skills in database concepts, design, and creating store procedures/triggers/views. - Strong design/UML/tools skills, knowledge of Substation Automation, and experience working in a Scrum (or any other Agile) delivery model.,
