Our Data and AI Deveopment team is ooking for an enthusiastic and taented Back-End Deveoper to hep shape the future of the IBM data management portfoio, of fundamenta importance to IBM’s strategic direction on hybrid data managementincudingofferingsofIBM Db2 , IBM Coud Pak for Data watsonx.data (IBM’s akehouse for AI workoads). You wi work aongside oca and goba teams of Deveopers, Architects, and Engineers creating the future of enterprise data management in the context of AI. You are a Back-End Deveoper, who wi design, deveop, maintain, and support compex product components on mutipe patforms. As an ambitious individua who can work cosey with a senior architect’s direction, you have the abiity to manage change and to work under pressure. You are curious to earn, as demonstrated by your up-to-date technica knowedge. You are a capabe team payer, famiiar with Agie methodoogies and principes, or have experience working in an Agie team. Required education Bacheor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technica and professiona expertise Expertise with anguages incuding C/C++ and SQL Experience and comfort in Linux/UNIX deveopment environments, and Linux operating systems Experience writing / executing unit and functiona tests Knowedge of agorithms, data structures, and database technoogies Experience with systems such as Git and GitHub Preferred technica and professiona experience Expertise with anguagessuch asPer, Python, and Linux/UNIXshescripting 6+years of software deveopment experience Strong sense of ownership of the deiverabes of you and your team Demonstrated communication skis and a good team payer Abiity to earn and appy new technoogies quicky Working knowedge of toos such as Artifactory, Jenkins, Tekton, and Maven woud be an asset
