Location: Pune, India (On-site / Hybrid)

Qualification: Bachelors or MasterDegree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Validation Engineer with a strong foundation in scripting, debugging , and industrial communication protocol testing . You will work on validating embedded firmware at both functional and system/product levels , ensuring end-to-end reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform firmware validation and testing at both functional and system/product levels.

Develop and execute automated and manual test cases using Python or equivalent scripting languages .

Validate industrial communication protocols such as BACnet MS/TP, BACnet/IP, and EtherNet/IP (EIP) .

Identify, debug, and report issues; collaborate with firmware developers for resolution.

Maintain traceability using JIRA , and contribute to Agile ceremonies and sprints .

Work independently to plan and manage validation tasks in coordination with cross-functional teams.

Contribute to test documentation , bug reporting, regression testing, and release certification.
Must-Have Skills

Strong scripting and debugging skills (preferably Python).

Experience in firmware testing at functional and system/product levels.

Hands-on experience with BACnet (MS/TP & IP) , EtherNet/IP (EIP) , and related communication protocol validation.

Familiarity with JIRA , Agile methodology, and test case management.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
