Description
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. Globalization Team Plays a key role and interfaces with development and base testing teams to deliver products globalization support in a timely manner. Being a member of Database Globalization Technology Team, you will get a have chance to work on cutting-edge technologies in Database and also get a comprehensive understanding of the whole Oracle database product lineup. Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Review Function, Design specification and work out globalization Test Specification. QA Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions. Develop fully automated globalization test scripts. As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design functional, integration and regression test plans, build and execute manual and automated tests and perform highly complex analysis for multiple products. Set cross-functional product testing standards. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems. Contribute to Infrastructure framework for globalization test enhancement Work with cross functional teams (Development, functional Test, Release Management, Support etc.) Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. QUALIFICATIONS: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in computer science or equivalent from premier institution Oracle Database and Oracle PL/SQL is Mandatory Linux/Windows Operating system Java/C#/C++/C/J2EE programming experience will be a Plus Excellent script language skill will be a plus (e.g. Perl/Shell/Python ). Knowledge of standards: SQL, JDBC, JSON, XML, NET, REST Automation Knowledge of Selenium Web driver Good understanding of Oracle database technology (Cloud, Tools, Core Features, OGG, etc) Good Understanding of Artificial Intelligence Excellent analytical skill and problem solving skills, ability to learn new technologies quickly. Excellent English communication skill, both written and verbal. Self motivated, capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of languages (e.g. Japanese, Korean, German, and French) would be a plus. Understanding of character set encoding, knowledge of Unicode standard would be a plus. Understanding of character set conversion with oracle database would be a plus. Software localization knowledge, for example Date/time/currency format, collation and sorting etc would be a plus.
