Your role as a SaaS Accounting Analyst will involve supporting Kenvue's accounting processes pertaining to SaaS contracts, expense recognition, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements within your region. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in managing all activities related to SaaS accounting, ensuring accurate recognition of expenses associated with SaaS contracts and compliance with relevant accounting standards, including contract tracking and amortization schedule maintenance. - Analyze the financial implications of changes in SaaS contracts, offering insights on accounting treatment and financial impact. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data related to SaaS transactions. - Prepare and update documentation for SaaS accounting processes, encompassing policies and procedures. - Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to SaaS accounting. - Monitor and analyze SaaS-related financial metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for process enhancements. - Aid in audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries related to SaaS accounting. To excel in this role, you are required to hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance. Proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of other languages is advantageous. Experience and Skills: Required: - Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft tools. - 1-2 years of experience in accounting, problem-solving, process improvement, and effective communication. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels. - Willingness to embrace new ideas, adapt to rapid changes, and leverage emerging technologies. - Prior experience in a SaaS accounting department is beneficial. - Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. - Solid understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards is preferred.
