Job Description

As an experienced Enterprise Architect for Platform & Engineering Systems, you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the technical architecture strategy. Your responsibilities will include: - Define and evolve enterprise architecture spanning backend, frontend, cloud, and DevOps domains. - Establish and maintain architecture guidelines, best practices, and design standards. - Advise engineering teams on technology choices, tools, and integration patterns. - Conduct design reviews to ensure alignment with architectural principles. - Prioritize and guide technical debt reduction and legacy modernization efforts. - Align technical solutions with business needs and product goals. - Lead architecture reviews focusing on scalability, performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. - Ensure compliance with security standards, secrets management, and identity integration. - Support teams with cloud infrastructure, observability, and automation. Your primary skills and expertise should include: - Strong understanding of full-stack architecture, preferably Python-based systems. - Proficiency in Python (Django), Go, Rust, TypeScript. - Frontend skills in React.js, Tailwind CSS, HTML/CSS. - Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda. - Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Nginx. - Familiarity with DevOps tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins. - Understanding of security tools like HashiCorp Vault, FusionAuth. - Proficiency in monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch. - Exposure to data and messaging technologies like Redis, Kafka, GraphQL. - Knowledge of deployment processes including static React apps hosted on Nginx and CI/CD pipelines for containerized services. Additionally, the following skills are considered nice to have for this role: - Experience in product/platform engineering environments. - Background in microservices and modern frontend frameworks. - Exposure to build vs. buy decisions. - Familiarity with agile development and cross-functional collaboration. - Experience mentoring engineering teams and leading architecture reviews. - Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills. - Hands-on experience in designing distributed systems. - Pragmatic approach to long-term system maintainability. - Ability to work across multiple teams and influence at various organizational levels.,
