As a Technical Architect / Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in modernizing the mission-critical system for emergency response agencies. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects including architecture, security, and collaboration with stakeholders. In the realm of Architecture & Leadership, you will be tasked with designing a scalable and secure architecture utilizing technologies such as Node.js, PostgreSQL, React, and React Native. Your leadership will be demonstrated through leading IdP integration (FusionAuth, Auth0, Azure AD B2C) while considering RBAC, multi-tenancy, and compliance requirements. Additionally, you will architect modular services catering to real-time data, GIS integration, and tenant customization. Security & Compliance will be under your purview where you will oversee secure authentication systems for web and mobile platforms (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML). You will evaluate IdP solutions against current standards, ensuring compliance with CJIS/FedRAMP. Your role will also involve aligning logging, token management, and access controls with industry standards. Technical Oversight will be a significant part of your responsibilities, where you will guide teams across full-stack, mobile, DevOps, and QA domains. You will drive initiatives related to code quality, CI/CD implementation, Dockerization, and AWS deployment. Defining schema, APIs, and integration patterns with third-party entities will also fall within your realm. Stakeholder Engagement will be a key aspect of your role as you collaborate with clients to align the architecture with the business goals. You will play a pivotal role in making and communicating architectural decisions, supporting sprint planning, and ensuring alignment with the roadmap. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in full-stack development, with at least 5 years in an architecture/leadership role. Proficiency in Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and IdP integration is essential. A deep understanding of secure authentication, RBAC, and regulatory frameworks is required. Agile leadership skills in a complex technical environment will be advantageous. Preferred qualifications include experience with Esri ArcGIS, OPA, or policy-as-code, as well as knowledge of multi-tenant SaaS and public safety applications.,
