Software Architect - Embedded + Android

You will be a Software Architect responsible for leading the infrastructure software design of next-generation systems in an embedded environment, specifically focusing on Android systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be a part of a leading multi-million dollar product organization headquartered in the US. - Define and document end-to-end next-gen infrastructure architecture across Linux/Android and microcontroller-based systems. - Architect system software for aircraft-installed servers, displays, and network equipment. - Develop reusable design patterns, frameworks, and NFRs (non-functional requirements). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review features, influence product direction, and ensure seamless system integration. - Stay updated with emerging technologies, build prototypes, and contribute to shaping the future onboard hardware. - 10+ years of experience in embedded + Android system development with a proven track record of building android platforms on embedded environments. - 3+ years of experience as a software architect on complex embedded products, with a history of leading development teams. - Experience in building automotive, healthcare, telematics, or infotainment products on the Android platform in an embedded environment is preferred. - Deep understanding of OS internals, device drivers, networking, file systems, and secure systems. - Strong skills in debugging, performance tuning, and observability for embedded platforms. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, being both a tech visionary and a team player.,
