Responsibilitie

• Create and publish compelling content across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp), aligned with the brand's voice and messaging.
• Write error-free headlines and captions; edit content for accuracy, clarity, and impact.
• Develop a mix of original, curated, and user-generated content using text, images, and short videos.
• Plan, schedule, and optimise posts to maximise reach and engagement.
• Track news and trends; coordinate with reporters for breaking news updates and identify opportunities to leverage trending events.
• Moderate comments and online conversations in line with brand and community guidelines.
• Analyse performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) to refine and inform content strategy.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over English and excellent editing/proofreading skills.
• Hands-on experience with social media publishing tools.
• Knowledge of digital content trends, analytics, and platform best practices.
• Ability to write crisp, engaging headlines and captions.
• Basic understanding of multimedia formats (images, reels, short videos).
• Good news judgment and awareness of current affairs.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and fast-paced environments.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field.
• 13 years of experience in digital content editing or social media roles.
• Experience in media, publishing, or newsroom environments is an advantage.
