About the Role

Social Media Strategist

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a detailed

    social media strategy

    aligned with brand objectives and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage daily content planning, posting, and performance optimization across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Create or collaborate on

    high-quality multimedia content

    (copy, graphics, videos, reels, etc.).
  • Conduct audience and competitor research to refine strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor social communities, respond to comments/messages, and maintain a consistent brand voice.
  • Use analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, TikTok Analytics, etc.) to monitor performance and prepare regular reports.
  • Coordinate with marketing, design, PR, and product teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Manage social media budget for paid campaigns and collaborate with performance marketing teams.
  • Identify and work with influencers/creators to expand brand reach.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling, and creative direction skills.
  • Experience with analytics tools and data-driven decision making.
  • Proven track record of growing social media accounts and running successful campaigns.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends, algorithms, and platform best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with influencer marketing and paid social campaigns.
  • Basic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.).
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Later, etc.).
  • Experience in community management or brand building
