Role Overview

The ideal candidate is creative, strategic, and results-driven, with strong experience in growing social media accounts organically. You will be responsible for developing content strategy, scriptwriting for short-form videos, and leading our organic content efforts. This role is remote, freelance, and allows for flexible scheduling with no fixed hours.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Conceptualization

  • Develop and manage a content strategy to drive organic growth and engagement, particularly on Instagram
  • Propose and plan creative concepts for Reels, Stories, and educational carousels
  • Stay up to date with trends, formats, and best practices in social media marketing

Scriptwriting & Copywriting

  • Write short, compelling scripts for Reels and other short-form video content
  • Draft engaging, on-brand captions and calls to action for social posts
  • Adapt messaging to resonate with both students and prospective tutors

Growth Management & Analytics

  • Optimize content based on Instagram analytics and platform insights
  • Identify top-performing content formats and refine future strategy accordingly
  • Track and report on follower growth, engagement, and content reach

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (HR, tutors, academic advisors) to align messaging and gather content ideas
  • Maintain brand voice, tone, and visual consistency across all posts

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

  • 13 years of experience in social media management, ideally in education, edtech, or coaching
  • Proven track record of managing and growing Instagram accounts organically
  • Strong scriptwriting and short-form storytelling skills
  • Ability to develop content ideas that align with brand objectives and drive engagement
  • Proficiency with basic design and video tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar
  • Familiarity with Instagram features (Reels, Stories, Insights, Hashtags)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and meet deadlines

Performance Metrics & Goals

  • Increase in Instagram followers over a specified timeframe
  • Growth in organic engagement: likes, comments, shares, saves, and reach
  • Consistency and quality of content aligned with brand guidelines
  • Increased website visits or inquiries from social media
