About the Role

At Monks Bouffe, we’re not just looking for someone who can cut footage. We’re looking for someone who can see stories, shape them into reels, and help build conversations around India’s indigenous food, farmers, and regenerative practices.

This is a 70% editing + 20% shooting + 10% social media trend-spotting role. You’ll spend your days crafting reels from hour-long interviews, field footage, and kitchen stories, and working closely with our team to decide what hits hard on social.

You’ll learn the craft of virality directly from creators who’ve made content that doesn’t just get likes—but actually inspires people to think, feel, and act.

What You’ll Do

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube documentaries using Premiere Pro
• Travel with our team to farms and field sites to shoot video and photos
• Watch long-form interviews and pick out moments that can become viral short-form content
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm concepts and structure content for different platforms
• Stay up to date with Instagram trends and integrate them creatively
• Create visuals, hooks, and subtitles to enhance storytelling in each reel

What We Expect

• Proficiency in video editing (Premiere Pro preferred) and basic camera skills for field shoots
• A storytelling mindset—ability to identify strong moments and turn them into engaging Reels
• Awareness of social media trends and ability to creatively apply them to brand content
• Self-driven, reliable, and able to manage edits independently while meeting deadlines

Monks Bouffe is an Organic Food Company and social enterprise working on indigenous, heirloom Indian food ingredients and products.

Over the past 9 years, we have worked with tribal communities, farmers and farmer groups to research & grow our ancient crops while getting them to our plates through a fair & transparent supply chain system.
