Social Media Content Producer (Freelance) | Location - Chennai | On-Site During Shoots

Role Summary

We’re looking for a creative, trend-savvy Social Media Content Producer to ideate and guide content during shoots. You won’t be filming or editing. Your focus will be on making sure every shot captured matches the brand’s vibe, audience, and goals.

Pre-Shoot Ideation

• Curate and adapt content ideas based on current Instagram trends.
• Ensure ideas align with the brand’s voice, target audience, and industry sensitivity (e.g., we’re don't want to be putting a cancer-specialization hospital client into an aura farming trend).

Shoot Direction

• Be physically present during shoots to guide:
• On-screen talents (employees, team members, founders)
• Our videographers and UGC creators
• Occasionally step in as on-screen talent yourself if needed
• Ensure the shoot follows the creative brief, trend direction, and brand tone.

Trend Application

• Spot and integrate relevant Instagram trends into concepts and live shoot adjustments.

Collaborative Execution

• Work closely with videographers, photographers, and talent to maintain a seamless production flow.

Post-Shoot Review

• Review raw footage and provide feedback to ensure the strongest takes are selected for editing.

What This Role Is NOT

• You won’t be shooting or operating cameras.
• You won’t be editing videos or photos.
• You won’t be managing social media posting or paid ads.

Ideal Candidate

• 1–2 years experience in a creative/content role (agency, brand, influencer marketing, or media).
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content culture — with a sharp eye for trends.
• Comfortable giving direction to on-camera talent in a confident, friendly way.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Quick thinker who can adapt ideas on the fly during shoots.
