Social Media Content Creator

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Video Production

• Conceptualize and produce

  short-form videos, reels, and social media stories

  for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Shoot

  self-videos

  and lifestyle content using phone-based or compact DSLR setups.
• Create visually engaging content around brand products, campaigns, and trending challenges.
• Edit videos (basic trimming, transitions, text overlays, music sync) for high engagement.
• Collaborate with the creative and brand teams to align with campaign narratives.

Social Media Strategy & Management

• Develop content ideas in sync with brand calendars and festive campaigns.
• Work closely with performance and design teams to maintain post frequency and storytelling consistency.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for upcoming campaigns, reels, and influencer collaborations.

Analytics & Tools

• Track content performance using platform insights and third-party tools (Meta Insights, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, Later, Hootsuite, etc.).
• Provide data-driven feedback to improve future content performance.
• Stay updated with platform algorithm changes, trends, and audio usage patterns.
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in

  shooting, editing, and posting self-shot video content

  .
• Strong understanding of

  social media platforms

  (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta Business Suite).
• Hands-on experience with basic video editing tools (CapCut, InShot, VN, Canva Video, Premiere Rush).
• Creative mindset with trend awareness and storytelling ability.
• Comfortable appearing on camera when required.
• Working knowledge of social media analytics and insights reporting.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
  

Qualification

• Graduate in Mass Communication, Media, or Digital Marketing.
• Prior experience in an

  agency, influencer network, or brand content team

  preferred.
