Social Media and Content Executive

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Publishing:

• Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content (posts, stories, Reels, shorts, etc.) for all major social media platforms.
  
• Create basic video content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and edit images using Photoshop (preferred).
  
• Collaborate with the design teams to ensure brand consistency across all content.
  

Social Media Management:

• Handle day-to-day management of company social media accounts.
  
• Monitor comments, DMs, and interactions; respond appropriately to maintain community engagement.
  

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

• Track and analyze key social media metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, growth, etc.).
  
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
  

Trend Monitoring & Innovation:

• Stay updated with the latest platform trends, features, and algorithm changes.
  
• Propose and experiment with creative content ideas to improve visibility and engagement.
  

Content Calendar Management:

• Maintain and update the social media content calendar.
  
• Coordinate with internal teams to align content with ongoing campaigns and launches.
  

Competitor & Market Analysis:

• Monitor competitor activity to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  
• Suggest strategies to stand out in a competitive digital landscape.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in social media management and content creation.
  
• Working knowledge of video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred).
  
• Familiarity with basic graphic design (Adobe Photoshop is a plus).
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple platforms and prioritize tasks effectively.
  
• Passion for digital storytelling, social media, and audience engagement.
