Role Overview: You will be joining SYSTRA India as a Social cum Resettlement Safeguard Personnel for the Tirunelveli, UGSS Project. Your role will involve carrying out census and socio-economic surveys, updating resettlement plans, ensuring compliance with safeguard documentation, implementing RP activities, conducting public consultation, preparing monitoring reports, and providing assistance in awareness campaigns/training related to involuntary resettlement. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out census and socio-economic surveys for affected people based on final designs - Update resettlement plan in line with the TNUFIP resettlement framework - Identify requirements for EUPs/NOCs for sub-project sites and assist in obtaining them - Assist in day-to-day implementation of RP activities and ensure compliance with conditions of RF/RP - Conduct public consultation and disclosure activities - Prepare periodic social safeguard monitoring reports as per PAM requirements - Establish a system and indicators to monitor social safeguards, focusing on gender and vulnerable households - Provide assistance in awareness campaigns/training related to involuntary resettlement - Assist in any other social safeguard related tasks as required Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate in Social science (Sociology/Social Work/Economics/Development Studies) - Minimum 10 years of experience in carrying out Resettlement/Social/Gender safeguard policies for urban infrastructure projects SYSTRA India has a strong team of experts and young engineers who work together to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to clients.
