SOC R&D / Developer

As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for creating systems software, analyzing data to improve existing systems or develop new innovations, and maintaining scalable applications. Your role will involve monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, including deployments in multiple environments. You must be well-versed in computer systems and network functions, with the ability to work diligently and accurately. Your strong problem-solving skills will be essential in fixing issues and ensuring the smooth functioning of your clients" business operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop research programs incorporating current developments to enhance existing products and explore the potential of new products. - Research, design, and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment. - Document all phases of research and development. - Establish and maintain testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in-process, and finished products. - Ensure research projects are completed on time and yield result-oriented outcomes. - Attend industry conferences on relevant research topics. - Understand customer expectations for future products. - Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance product development. - Maintain user guides and technical documentation. - Create impactful demonstrations to showcase emerging security technologies. - Design and build services focusing on business value and usability. - Assist in maintaining the SIEM platform and contribute to security strategies in response to new threats. - Stay updated on emerging security threats and regulatory security requirements. - Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the security management team or service delivery manager. **Qualifications Required:** - ELK development experience. - Experience in DevOps on AWS cloud, containers, and serverless code. - Proficiency in Wazuh and ELK development stack. - Implementation of best DevOps practices. - Knowledge of tools required for parser/use case development, plugin customization such as Regex, Python, YAML, and XML. - Hands-on experience in DevOps. - Familiarity with Linux and monitoring/logging tools like Splunk. - Strong scripting skills. - Research and design experience for software systems, websites, programs, and applications. - Writing and implementing clean, scalable code, troubleshooting, and debugging. - Verifying and deploying software systems. - Evaluating user feedback and suggesting program improvements. - Maintaining software code and security systems. - Knowledge of cloud systems such as AWS and Azure. - Excellent communication skills.,
