Responsibilities: - Serve as the final escalation point for intricate security incidents and alerts. - Conduct in-depth analysis of security events utilizing SIEM, EDR, and other security tools. - Lead incident response efforts, encompassing containment, eradication, and recovery. Conduct proactive threat hunting to detect and mitigate threats. - Develop and update playbooks and procedures for incident handling. - Provide mentorship and guidance to SOC L1 and L2 analysts. - Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to correlate global threats with local occurrences. - Assist in forensic investigations, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews. - Assess and propose enhancements to SOC processes and tools. - Aid in the tuning of detection systems to minimize false positives. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree with 5-10 years of experience in IT Security. - Proficient in Incident Management. - Experience in managing High Severity Complex Cyber Security Incidents involving multiple Business Functions and Technology Teams. - Strong Data Analysis and Presentation skills. - Excellent Communication skills. - Sound understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework. Beneficial Skills: - Proficiency in Documentation. - Expertise in Incident Management. Personal Characteristics: - Effective communication skills, capable of collaborating with diverse regions. - Actively engage within internal project communities. - Strong team player, capable of working locally, regionally, globally, and as part of joint cross-location initiatives. - Self-motivated, capable of working independently and within a team. - Ability to perform effectively under pressure.,
