3+ Years in SOA Architecture and Migration Projects

We are looking for an experienced

SOA Architect

to lead the assessment and migration of legacy

SOA 10g

environments to

SOA 14c

. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

Oracle SOA Suite

, enterprise integration, and migration strategy planning. This role involves evaluating the existing landscape, defining a scalable and compliant target architecture, and ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess the
AS-IS architecture
and components of the existing
SOA 10g
environment.
Define and document the
migration strategy
to
SOA 14c
, aligning with enterprise architecture standards.
Evaluate legacy SOA 10g integrations and plan modernization activities.
Identify
risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
for the migration process.
Recommend appropriate
tools, frameworks, and methodologies
for migration and testing.
Ensure scalability, performance, and compliance in the target
SOA 14c
environment.
Collaborate with
business, infrastructure, and development teams
throughout the migration lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with
Oracle SOA Suite (10g / 12c / 14c)
.
Expertise in
BPEL, Mediator, OSB (Oracle Service Bus)
, and
Adapters
.
Proven experience in
SOA migration or upgrade projects
(preferably 10g to 12c/14c).
Strong understanding of
Web Services (SOAP/REST)
,
XML
,
WSDL
, and
XSLT
.
Experience designing
scalable and secure SOA solutions
.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

Exposure to
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
or cloud-based integrations.
Familiarity with
API Gateway
and
Microservices architecture
.
Certification in
Oracle SOA Suite / Fusion Middleware
.
Experience with
Agile / DevOps
methodologies.
