Role Overview: You will be responsible for understanding and aligning with the Group's business strategy and model relevant to your role. Additionally, you will need to have a good understanding of the Financial Markets environment in which the Group operates. Key Responsibilities: - Own user stories and ensure timely delivery - Drive through various development/testing phases and implement in production - Work in the banking industry with familiarity in financial products - Possess strong knowledge in SQL - Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writing - Maintain a customer-focused approach with great attention to detail - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams in a global service delivery model - Lead by example to build the appropriate culture and values - Understand and adhere to SDLC/AGILE and business process improvement practices - Proficient in Java development techniques and environments - Experience in a mature CI/CD environment - Familiarity with Service or Microservice architecture such as REST and SOAP - Knowledge of Frameworks like Spring, Spring boot, Camel, JMS, Solace, Kafka - Understanding of UI technologies like Ember, ReactJs, HTML5, CSS - Proficiency in build automation tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle - Experience with application servers like Jboss and Tomcat Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of Java / J2ee - Proficiency in Oracle and Hibernate - Familiarity with Ember / React JS, iReport, Jboss, Solace / Kafka About the Company: Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive impact for its clients, communities, and employees.
