Snowflake Lead

As a Snowflake Lead, you will be responsible for leading data use cases in a large-scale environment by leveraging your expertise in data architecture, modeling, and design. Your role will involve collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. You will be tasked with designing and documenting solution architectures using the arc42 framework, supporting Architecture Decision Records (ADR) creation, and building and optimizing data models such as 3NF, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema. Additionally, you will apply Data Vault 2.0 modeling concepts in solutions, work with large datasets, ensure performant scripting in Snowflake, and guide and review the design and development process to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture. Collaboration with BI teams for solution delivery and performance optimization, as well as working with Wherescape RED & 3D for automation and modeling, will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Design and document solution architectures using arc42 framework and support Architecture Decision Records (ADR) creation. - Build and optimize data models (3NF, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema). - Apply Data Vault 2.0 modeling concepts in solutions. - Work with large datasets and ensure performant scripting in Snowflake. - Guide and review the design and development process, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture. - Collaborate with BI teams for solution delivery and performance optimization. - Work with Wherescape RED & 3D for automation and modeling. Skills & Qualifications: - 10-15 years of overall IT experience, with strong expertise in Snowflake. - Proficiency in SQL with large datasets. - Hands-on experience with data modeling like 3NF, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema. - Understanding of Data Vault 2.0 modeling concepts. - Experience in solution design & architecture documentation using the arc42 framework. - Experience in Wherescape RED & 3D is a strong advantage. - Strong communication & collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders. - Ability to handle end-to-end solution design for data pipelines and BI use cases.
