Role Description

This is an on-site contract role based in Pune for a Snowflake Consultant. The primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing Snowflake solutions, ensuring data accuracy and performance. The consultant will collaborate with teams to analyze requirements, create ETL pipelines, implement data warehousing strategies, and ensure seamless data integration. Maintaining documentation and resolving technical issues are also key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing concepts, and data pipeline development.
• Experience with data ingestion from diverse sources (databases, APIs, cloud storage, streaming).
• Practical understanding of Snowflake advanced features like Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Time Travel, Clustering & Micro-partitions, Zero-Copy Cloning.
• SQL expertise and performance tuning capabilities.
• Experience with tools like Informatica, Talend, ADF, DBT, or similar ETL technologies.
• Knowledge of SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
