SMTS Silicon Design Engineer

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Radeon Technologies Group, contributing to the development of cutting-edge designs. Working within the front-end design/integration team, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful implementation of silicon designs for next-generation computing experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Translate high-level SoC architecture into microarchitecture details to facilitate SoC implementation and verification. - Demonstrate expertise in SoC Chip Pervasive Logic, including Clock, Reset, and Power microarchitecture and design. - Proficiency in SoC Low Power Design, involving voltage and clock domain crossings, Power Gating and Retention, and Power States. - In-depth knowledge of industry-standard bus protocols like AMBA. - Familiarity with SoC Architecture, Boot flows, Chip initialization, Fuse distribution, power sequence, reset sequence, and clock sequence. - Experience in SoC RTL Integration and implementation flows including Synthesis and Physical Design. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering or Electrical Engineering.
