Job Description

As a Small Deal Desk Services Advisor at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Services Sales and Delivery teams by facilitating the creation, processing, and execution of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Change Requests (CRs) for Professional Services engagements. These engagements are essential for enhancing customer relationships and ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of our software solutions. Your responsibilities will include acting as a trusted advisor to our account teams, collaborating closely to understand their business needs, and supporting the commercial processing of SOWs and CRs for solutions valued under $100K. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with Services Sales, Services Pre-Sales, and Project Management to ensure alignment of scope, pricing, and deliverables. In addition, you will support customer and prospect engagement for contract development and processing needs as requested by the field teams. Regular check-ins with account teams and customers will be conducted to ensure satisfaction with commercial documentation and identify opportunities for additional services. You will proactively identify, escalate, and help resolve customer issues related to commercial processing. Ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal guidelines, and pricing governance before submission for approval or signature will be a key aspect of your role. You will also manage the routing and tracking of commercial documents through appropriate approval workflows, maintain accurate records of all commercial documents, approvals, and communications, and provide input to sales and services leadership on deal pipeline, volume, and trends. Your role will involve assisting in maintaining and improving templates, checklists, and tools used in commercial document creation and processing, actively gathering feedback from account teams and customers to propose process enhancements, and working towards streamlining deal desk workflows to reduce turnaround times and improve efficiency. To be successful in this role, you should have strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective commercial solutions. Experience in customer service, consulting, or a similar client-facing role, familiarity with supply chain processes and systems, and exposure to sales enablement or customer success functions are highly desirable.
