Role

Senior Manager Category

Responsibilities

• Define and execute category strategy across Freshly's fresh-grocery portfolio.
• Build and refine assortment, pricing ladders, visibility plans, and margin structures.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; negotiate commercials and improve unit economics.
• Ensure product availability, demand planning accuracy, and low stock-outs across stores.
• Own category P&L: margins, wastage norms, offers, and efficiencies.
• Drive customer insights, velocity analysis, and data-led decision making.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and marketing to drive category growth and experience.

Requirements

• 510 years of category management experience in e-commerce, quick commerce, D2C, or modern trade.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills; comfort with fast decision cycles.
• Proven ability to build and scale categories in a fast-paced environment.
• High ownership mindset with cross-functional execution capability.
• Experience in fresh grocery, perishables, or fast-moving categories is a strong plus.
