Sitecore Developer (XM Cloud)

**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** At Vertis, we are seeking a skilled Sitecore Developer to join our team and specialize in creating high-performance, scalable digital solutions on Sitecore XM Cloud. In this role, you will collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to build personalized and content-rich websites using the newest Cloud technologies. Your understanding of Sitecore's architecture, Content Management systems, and modern front-end development practices will be crucial in delivering exceptional digital solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and Implement solutions using Next.js and Sitecore XM Cloud, ensuring responsive and optimized web experiences. - Work with Sitecore Headless Services to integrate content APIs for seamless content delivery across devices and channels. - Collaborate with Front-End and UX/UI Designers to create rich and personalized experiences aligned with client needs and business goals. - Optimize application performance by leveraging Sitecore's capabilities and maintaining high standards for performance, security, and SEO. - Integrate APIs and Third-Party Services into Sitecore XM Cloud to extend platform functionalities. - Utilize Cloud Services (preferably Vercel) for managing Sitecore XM Cloud deployments and performance optimizations. - Ensure Quality Code through best practices, testing, and adherence to agile methodologies. - Stay Updated on the latest updates in Next.js, Sitecore XM Cloud, and headless CMS technologies for continuous project improvements. - Provide Support and Troubleshooting to resolve issues related to Sitecore and Next.js implementations, collaborating with the DevOps team for smooth deployments. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3+ years of experience working with Sitecore (preferably Sitecore XM or XP, with experience migrating to or working on Sitecore XM Cloud). - Strong proficiency in Next.js or React, and modern front-end development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). - Understanding of Sitecore development best practices for headless development. - Version Control using Git, along with experience in CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Sitecore Certification is a plus to have. - Experience with React.js and JavaScript frameworks, particularly Next.js. - Experience in JAMstack, Static Site Generation, and serverless architecture is a plus. - Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL queries, and API layer optimizations. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in delivering scalable, maintainable code. - Understanding of the OAuth2 standard and JSON Web Tokens. - Prior experience with Sitecore JSS (JavaScript Services) is an added advantage. **Additional Company Details:** Vertis offers best in class compensation, medical benefits, an international and multicultural environment, training & development opportunities, and career growth prospects in a successful, fast-growing company.
