About The Job We are currently looking for a talented Sitecore Developer to join our team, focusing on developing high-performance, scalable digital solutions on Sitecore XM Cloud. As a Sitecore Developer at Vertis, you will collaborate with designers, marketers, and fellow developers to craft personalized, content-rich websites using the latest Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of Sitecore's architecture, Content Management systems, and contemporary front-end development practices. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement solutions using Next.js and Sitecore XM Cloud to ensure responsive and optimized web experiences. - Utilize Sitecore Headless Services to integrate content APIs, delivering seamless content across various devices and channels. - Collaborate with Front-End and UX/UI Designers to create personalized experiences aligned with client needs and business objectives. - Optimize application performance by leveraging Sitecore's capabilities, maintaining high standards for performance, security, and SEO. - Integrate APIs and Third-Party Services into Sitecore XM Cloud to extend platform functionalities. - Manage Sitecore XM Cloud deployments and performance optimizations using Cloud Services (preferably Vercel). - Uphold quality code through best practices, testing, and following agile methodologies (e.g., sprint planning, code reviews). - Stay informed about the latest updates in Next.js, Sitecore XM Cloud, and headless CMS technologies to enhance project outcomes. - Offer support and troubleshooting to resolve Sitecore and Next.js implementation issues, collaborating with the DevOps team for seamless deployments. Requirement and Qualification - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum of 3 years of experience with Sitecore, preferably Sitecore XM or XP, with exposure to Sitecore XM Cloud. - Proficiency in Next.js or React, along with modern front-end development skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). - Experience in Sitecore XM Cloud or headless CMS development is desirable. - Familiarity with Sitecore development best practices for headless development. - Proficient in Version Control using Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including marketers, designers, and developers. - Sitecore Certification is a plus. - Knowledge of React.js, JavaScript frameworks, particularly Next.js. - Experience in JAMstack, Static Site Generation, and serverless architecture is advantageous. - Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL queries, and API layer optimizations. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in delivering scalable, maintainable code. - Understanding of OAuth2 standard and JSON Web Tokens. - Prior exposure to Sitecore JSS (JavaScript Services) is beneficial.
